Why TheCrewHost for Tower Unite?

The features that matter for a Dedicated Condo follow the structure of PixelTail's official server, not a generic template.

Full TowerServer.ini Access

ServerTitle, MaxPlayers, both login tokens, the admin list and condo save options live in Tower/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/TowerServer.ini. Edit the file in the panel and restart to apply it.

Condo Autosave and Backups

CondoAutoSave saves the condo periodically after changes, and CondoBackupsEnabled writes a backup copy every time it saves. On top of that, the panel's automatic backups protect the whole server.

Bring Your Existing Condo

Export your condo in-game with Saves > Export Condo and upload the .map over SFTP to the right folder, such as Tower/Condos/C_Condo/C_Condo.map. Years of decorating open on the server as-is.

Admins, Permissions and Bans

Add full admins with AdminSteamID lines and grant per-player permissions from Player Permissions in the condo scoreboard. Manual bans go into TowerBans.ini by Steam ID.

Chat and Event Log

Joins, leaves, chat and permission changes are written to Tower/TowerServer_Chat.txt with timestamps and Steam IDs. After a dispute, that file shows exactly who did what.

24/7 Support

If tokens, ports or a condo missing from the list have you stuck, our team answers around the clock via ticket, Discord, WhatsApp, phone or live chat.

TheCrewHost Tower Unite server hosting starts at ₺345.00 per month ($8.63) and runs PixelTail Games' official Dedicated Condo server. Your own condo or a community condo stays online around the clock without you keeping the game open, and visitors arrive with their own inventory and can contribute to the build. The server runs in our İstanbul datacenter on a Ryzen 9 9950X with NVMe storage, giving guests from Türkiye low latency. In TowerServer.ini you set the condo title, a player limit between 2 and 64, your Steam and Tower login tokens and AdminSteamID lines, and you move an existing condo over by uploading the .map file you exported in-game.

What is a Tower Unite Dedicated Condo and what is it for?

A Tower Unite Dedicated Condo is the official server that keeps your condo online 24/7 without you keeping the game running. Normally a condo can only be visited while you are in-game; when you leave, the doors close. With a Dedicated Condo the space is always open, and friends or your community drop by whenever they like. Visitors also bring their own inventory and can place items to contribute, which makes shared build projects, club venues and event spaces possible.

A Dedicated Condo starts on one of the game's condo maps: the classic Condo, House, Suite, Resort, Highrise, Underwater, Art Studio, Theatre, Courtyard, Ice Moon, Smooth Dirt and Smooth Autumn. The server's startup map decides which one you get.

To be clear up front: PixelTail's dedicated server is built for condos. The official setup guide covers condo maps only, so do not expect to host Game Worlds like Ball Race, Minigolf or Virus on it. If what you want from Tower Unite server hosting is an always-open club, gallery, cinema or community hangout, a Dedicated Condo is exactly the right tool.

Which plan does a Dedicated Condo need?

Our Tower Unite plans start at Silver 6GB, and for a reasonably furnished condo at the default 32-player limit, Silver is enough. Tower Unite runs on Unreal Engine, and the Dedicated Condo server keeps every item, light and interactive object in the condo in memory. That makes how packed your condo is a bigger factor in memory needs than the player count.

For a multi-floor condo furnished with thousands of items, or events that regularly go past 32 guests, Gold 8GB leaves a more comfortable buffer. If you push MaxPlayers toward 64 and the condo is dense, Platinum or Diamond is the recommendation. On the CPU side, the Ryzen 9 9950X's strong single-core performance keeps physics objects and player movement smooth during a crowded party.

On disk, the server files take a few gigabytes, and with CondoBackupsEnabled on, the backups written on each save pile up over time, so clearing old ones now and then is a good habit. Emerald and Xtreme are larger than a single condo server needs in most cases; they only make sense for very large event condos that stay full.

Why do you need Steam and Tower login tokens?

For a Dedicated Condo to show up in the in-game Condo server list, it needs two tokens, and both are mandatory. The Steam Login Token gives your server a static Steam ID; you create it at steamcommunity.com/dev/managegameservers using 394690 as the App ID. The Tower Login Token links your condo to Tower Unite's own server list and comes from the game server management page on moderation.towerunite.com. Both go into their lines in TowerServer.ini.

These tokens work like your server's password. If you share them, someone else can pose as your server, and if they misuse it, your account or server could face action. If a token slips into a screenshot or a public channel, hit Regenerate right away; the old token stops working.

The tokens also pair the condo with your Steam account, and Dedicated Condos connect to PixelTail's moderation system. That is why following the condo rules matters: a mature server stays listed only if its title includes 18+, and unlabeled mature content gets the condo delisted.

Importing your condo, adding admins and handling bans

To move an existing condo to the server, open the condo scoreboard in-game and use Saves > Export Condo; the file is saved as a .map in your Tower Unite/Workshop/Condo Exports folder. On the server, create a folder under Tower/Condos named after the map and put the file inside with the same name: Tower/Condos/C_Condo/C_Condo.map for the Condo map, Tower/Condos/C_Studio/C_Studio.map for Art Studio, and so on. If you want a different file name, the CondoFile line in TowerServer.ini decides which file loads from that folder.

Permissions come from AdminSteamID lines in the [Administration] section, one line per admin. Everyone on that list can kick and ban players, edit save data and change the server title. For narrower rights, use Settings > Player Permissions in the condo scoreboard, and turn on the Moderator Tag permission if you want moderators' tags visible to everyone.

Bans can be issued in-game or written by hand into TowerBans.ini with the player's Steam ID. Every join, leave, chat line and permission change is logged with a timestamp in Tower/TowerServer_Chat.txt.

How do guests join your Dedicated Condo?

Once both tokens are in place, your condo appears in Tower Unite's Condo server list under the title you set in ServerTitle, and guests join from there. A memorable title that says what the condo offers attracts new visitors; if you run a theme such as movie nights, a club or a gallery, put it in the title.

If the condo does not show up in the list, check the tokens first: a stray space, a regenerated token or one created with the wrong App ID will keep it off. Ports come second. The official guide uses 7777-7778 UDP for game traffic and 27015-27050 for Steam; on your server the ports assigned by the panel apply, and the startup settings use those.

One caution about Workshop items: according to the official guide, Workshop collision does not yet work properly on Dedicated Condos. If you do not want people walking through structures added from the Workshop, surround them with invisible blocking volumes. Taking a quick walk through a new layout before opening it to your community is a good way to catch gaps like that.

How to Set Up a Tower Unite Server

  1. 1

Choose a plan based on how packed your condo is

Start with Silver 6GB for a reasonable condo of up to 32 guests. For a heavily furnished condo or 64-player events, Gold or Platinum is more comfortable.

  2. 2

Check out and let the server install itself

Once payment clears, the Dedicated Condo server files download automatically. Open the console at gamepanel.hostingmerkezi.net to watch the first start.

  3. 3

Generate your Steam and Tower login tokens

Use App ID 394690 for the Steam Login Token and get the Tower Login Token from PixelTail's moderation site. Paste both into their lines in TowerServer.ini.

  4. 4

Set the title and admins in TowerServer.ini

Add ServerTitle, MaxPlayers and an AdminSteamID line with your own Steam ID. We suggest leaving CondoAutoSave and CondoBackupsEnabled set to True.

  5. 5

Upload your exported condo to the right folder

Put the .map from Saves > Export Condo into a folder named after the map, such as Tower/Condos/C_Condo/C_Condo.map, over SFTP, then restart the server.

  6. 6

Appear in the condo list and welcome guests

With valid tokens, your condo shows up by title in the Condo server list. Guests join from there and contribute with their own inventory.

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions condo owners ask most: tokens, importing a condo, Game Worlds and choosing a plan.

How much does Tower Unite server hosting cost?
Tower Unite server hosting starts at ₺345.00 per month ($8.63) on the Silver 6GB plan; our Tower Unite plans begin at 6 GB. Of the 6 plans, Silver suits a typical condo, while Gold or Platinum suit packed condos and big events. Every plan runs on a Ryzen 9 9950X with NVMe storage and free DDoS filtering.
Can this server host Game Worlds?
PixelTail's dedicated server is built for condos, and the official setup guide covers condo maps only. Do not expect to host Game Worlds such as Ball Race, Minigolf or Virus on it. The server you rent runs as a Dedicated Condo that stays online around the clock.
Which plan should I pick?
For a reasonably furnished condo at the default 32-player limit, Silver 6GB is enough. If your condo is packed with thousands of items or your events go past 32 guests, choose Gold 8GB, and if you push MaxPlayers toward 64, we recommend Platinum 10GB. How full the condo is drives memory use the most.
How do I move my existing condo to the server?
In-game, use Saves > Export Condo from the condo scoreboard to create a .map file in your Tower Unite/Workshop/Condo Exports folder. Upload it over SFTP into a folder under Tower/Condos named after your map, with the same file name, for example Tower/Condos/C_Condo/C_Condo.map. Restart and your condo loads.
Why is my condo not showing in the list?
Tokens are the most common reason. Both the Steam Login Token and the Tower Login Token are required; if one is missing, was created with the wrong App ID or has been regenerated, the condo will not list. Check the lines in TowerServer.ini, make sure no spaces surround the token, and restart.
How long until my condo is online?
Once payment clears, the Dedicated Condo files begin downloading on their own. Then you add your tokens, title and AdminSteamID line to TowerServer.ini and upload your condo file. If you prepare the tokens in advance, your condo can be listed the same day.
How do guests join my condo?
With valid tokens, your condo appears in Tower Unite's Condo server list under your ServerTitle, and guests join from there. They arrive with their own inventory and, depending on the permissions you grant, can place items or help with the build.
Is my condo backed up, and is DDoS protection included?
Yes, with two layers of safety. The server's own CondoBackupsEnabled option writes a backup copy on each save, and our panel's automatic backups protect the whole server folder. Free DDoS protection is active on every plan, shielding a condo that is publicly visible in the list from attack traffic.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes, move up from the customer area whenever you like; your condo files, backups and TowerServer.ini settings are kept. Stepping from Silver to Gold or Platinum as the condo fills up or events get busier is the most common upgrade path.
