Compare recommended use, plan hardware and monthly prices.
| Plan | Recommended for | Hardware | Monthly price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze 4GB | Standard 12v12 matches, stock + UMM mapsThe UE3 server is light; ideal for a clan or community server at default team sizes. | 4 vCore Ryzen 9950X · 4 GB DDR5 6000MHz · 50 GB NVMe SSD Samsung 990 PRO | ₺240.00/mo |
| Silver 6GB | Recommended: up to 32 players, long UMM rotationHeadroom for busy evenings and a big rotation while staying inside VOIP's 32-player limit. | 4 vCore Ryzen 9950X · 6 GB DDR5 6000MHz · 60 GB NVMe SSD Samsung 990 PRO | ₺345.00/mo |
| Gold 8GB | Large FLO events with a raised team capFor team sizes well above 16 per side; plan on Discord since built-in VOIP stops at 32 players. | 4 vCore Ryzen 9950X · 8 GB DDR5 6000MHz · 70 GB NVMe SSD Samsung 990 PRO | ₺440.00/mo |
| Platinum 10GB | More than AA:PG typically needsOnly if you want a lot of spare headroom; the game will not use most of this memory. | 4 vCore Ryzen 9950X · 10 GB DDR5 6000MHz · 100 GB NVMe SSD Samsung 990 PRO | ₺530.00/mo |
| Diamond 12GB | Beyond AA:PG's needsA single AA:PG server will not fill this; the lower tiers cover it unless you have other reasons. | 4 vCore Ryzen 9950X · 12 GB DDR5 6000MHz · 110 GB NVMe SSD Samsung 990 PRO | ₺617.50/mo |
| Emerald 16GB | Beyond AA:PG's needsThe extra vCores help little, as an Unreal Engine 3 server does most of its work on one core. | 6 vCore Ryzen 9950X · 16 GB DDR5 6000MHz · 120 GB NVMe SSD Samsung 990 PRO | ₺840.00/mo |
| Xtreme 32GB | Not recommended for AA:PGFar above what the game needs; this tier is meant for heavy modded games in our lineup. | 12 vCore Ryzen 9950X · 32 GB DDR5 6000MHz · 200 GB NVMe SSD Samsung 990 PRO | ₺1520.00/mo |
Built around what AA:PG owners actually edit since the official shutdown: AAGame.ini, the UMM rotation and the voice chat limit.
Set the message of the day with sDefaultServerMOTD, raise team size through MaxTeamSizeFLO and scale each map's roles with DefaultRoleCountMultiplier, from the panel file manager or over SFTP.
The final patch shipped 50 Beta Team curated User Made Maps. List the ones you want under IncludedUMMMapList in PCServer-AAGame.ini to add them to your rotation.
Built-in VOIP supports only 32 players. For bigger matches, set the server's VOIP port to zero to switch it off and move your teams onto Discord.
An Unreal Engine 3 server leans on one quick core more than many slow ones. The Ryzen 9 9950X keeps the server responsive when a large FLO lobby fills up.
Free DDoS protection sits in front of every server, and automatic backups keep your config and map files safe before you experiment with team sizes or rotations.
Stuck on an ini value or a map mismatch? Reach the team any hour by ticket, Discord, WhatsApp, phone or live chat, with support in Turkish.
America's Army: Proving Grounds server hosting at TheCrewHost starts at ₺240.00 ($6.00) a month and gets you a private AA:PG server with 4 GB of DDR5 RAM, Ryzen 9 9950X cores and NVMe storage. That matters because the official servers went offline on May 5, 2022, so privately run servers are now how the game is played online. You get full access to the AAGame.ini settings: write a message of the day, raise FLO team sizes past the old cap of 12 and put the curated User Made Map pack into rotation. The server runs in İstanbul with free DDoS protection and automatic backups.
Yes, through private servers. The official AA:PG servers and developer support were shut down on May 5, 2022, but the team's final patch notes stated that private servers on Steam would remain accessible. In practice, every online match today runs on a server that someone in the community hosts and pays for.
The last PC patch before the shutdown was aimed squarely at those owners. It unlocked all My Soldier content for everyone, raised the team size hard cap on FLO maps from 12 to 64, added new server settings and bundled a pack of 50 community maps. No further official patches are expected.
That stability works in a server owner's favor. You are not chasing weekly updates: you set your rotation, rules and message of the day once, back them up, and your clan or community has a permanent home for the game.
Most of the useful switches live in the server's AAGame.ini settings, which you edit through the panel file manager or over SFTP. sDefaultServerMOTD sets the message players see when they join; it stays on screen for about 15 seconds and can run to three lines, which makes it the natural spot for your Discord link and house rules. MaxTeamSizeFLO controls how many players each side can field on FLO maps, up to the new cap of 64. DefaultRoleCountMultiplier scales role availability: each map defines its own role counts, and this value multiplies them.
The final patch also changed match flow in ways that matter when you plan a server. The map vote moves over to FLO maps once enough players have joined, the scoreboard shows the top 12 players per team (scroll to see the rest), and the admin player list now copes with larger lobbies. Stop the server before editing, change one value at a time, and restart to check the result in the console.
User Made Maps (UMMs) give a private server far more variety than the stock list. The final patch included a Beta Team curated pack of 50 UMMs, among them FLO_Pipeline_AC, FLO_Dockside_TH and FLO_SmugglersHarbour_VIP. On the server they live under AAGame/CookedPCServer, and the maps you want in rotation go into PCServer-AAGame.ini under the IncludedUMMMapList entry.
There is one trap. If players are still subscribed to older Workshop copies of the same maps, they get version mismatch errors when your server loads them. Ask your community to unsubscribe from those Workshop items; the patched versions already ship with the game client in AAGame/Content/Maps/UMMs.
Take a backup from the panel before you rework a rotation, so a map that refuses to load is a one-step rollback. Players can also tour every UMM offline from the User Made Training menu, which makes it easy to let your community vote on which maps earn a slot.
A standard AA:PG private server runs comfortably on our Bronze 4GB plan. The game is built on Unreal Engine 3 and its dedicated server is light by modern standards: memory use follows the loaded map and the player count, since there is no persistent world or mod stack to hold in RAM.
Load rises once you use the new team size cap. A 12v12 FLO match is easy work, while pushing MaxTeamSizeFLO toward 64 per side multiplies the players the server tracks and updates, and it also means turning VOIP off because built-in voice stops at 32 players. For those big-lobby events, Silver 6GB or Gold 8GB leaves comfortable headroom.
The plans above Gold, up to Xtreme 32GB, are more than a single AA:PG server will use. We list them because the same hardware line serves many games, not because this one needs them. Clock speed matters more than memory here, and every plan runs on Ryzen 9 9950X cores with DDR5 6000 MHz RAM and NVMe storage, so map loads and round changes stay quick.
Players join from the in-game server browser by searching for the name you set, then entering the password if you use one. With official matchmaking gone, the browser is the main way people find a game, so a clear, searchable name that includes your region and style (TR, FLO or UMM rotation, for example) really helps.
Everyone needs the game in their Steam library; since the final patch the launcher only uses a Steam login. Official servers no longer track progression, so players who care about their numbers should know that opening the MySoldier menu prints their personal stats to the game's client.log file.
Settle voice early. Up to 32 players, the built-in VOIP works; above that, set the VOIP port to zero and run comms on Discord. With the server in İstanbul, players in Türkiye have a short route to your matches, and players across Europe and the Middle East generally connect well too.
Bronze 4GB handles standard 12v12 matches. If you plan big FLO events with a higher MaxTeamSizeFLO, start on Silver 6GB or Gold 8GB instead.
After payment your AA:PG server is installed automatically. Log in at gamepanel.hostingmerkezi.net for the console, file manager and start, stop and restart controls.
Set sDefaultServerMOTD, MaxTeamSizeFLO and DefaultRoleCountMultiplier, and give the server a clear name and password. Save, start it again and watch the console for errors.
Add the curated UMM maps you want to IncludedUMMMapList in PCServer-AAGame.ini, and remind players to unsubscribe from old Workshop copies of those maps.
Keep built-in VOIP for lobbies up to 32 players, or set the VOIP port to zero and put a Discord invite in your message of the day.
Share the server name so players can find it in the browser, take a panel backup of the working setup, and start your first match.
