Which nmrih Plan Is Right for You?

Compare recommended use, plan hardware and monthly prices.

PlanRecommended forHardwareMonthly price
Bronze 4GBRecommended: 1–8 players, vanilla or pluginsMore than enough for NMRiH's eight-player co-op; most groups never need to leave this tier.4 vCore Ryzen 9950X · 4 GB DDR5 6000MHz · 50 GB NVMe SSD Samsung 990 PRO₺240.00/mo
Silver 6GB8 players with a large SourceMod setupExtra memory and 60 GB NVMe for big plugin stacks and a growing custom map archive.4 vCore Ryzen 9950X · 6 GB DDR5 6000MHz · 60 GB NVMe SSD Samsung 990 PRO₺345.00/mo
Gold 8GB8 players, big map library and long logsUsually unnecessary for NMRiH, but gives comfortable headroom for very plugin-heavy servers.4 vCore Ryzen 9950X · 8 GB DDR5 6000MHz · 70 GB NVMe SSD Samsung 990 PRO₺440.00/mo
Platinum 10GBOversized for a single NMRiH serverNot recommended: an eight-player srcds instance leaves most of this memory unused.4 vCore Ryzen 9950X · 10 GB DDR5 6000MHz · 100 GB NVMe SSD Samsung 990 PRO₺530.00/mo
Diamond 12GBNot recommended for NMRiHExtra RAM does not change gameplay here; the real load sits on one CPU core.4 vCore Ryzen 9950X · 12 GB DDR5 6000MHz · 110 GB NVMe SSD Samsung 990 PRO₺617.50/mo
Emerald 16GBNot recommended for NMRiHSix vCores sound nice, but srcds runs its main loop on one core, so you would not feel it.6 vCore Ryzen 9950X · 16 GB DDR5 6000MHz · 120 GB NVMe SSD Samsung 990 PRO₺840.00/mo
Xtreme 32GBNot recommended for NMRiHBuilt for far heavier games; on NMRiH this capacity would simply sit idle.12 vCore Ryzen 9950X · 32 GB DDR5 6000MHz · 200 GB NVMe SSD Samsung 990 PRO₺1520.00/mo

Why TheCrewHost for nmrih?

An environment built around how NMRiH's Source server really behaves: strong single-core speed, full file access and room for plugins.

Fast single-thread srcds

The Source engine runs most game logic on one main thread. The Ryzen 9 9950X's high clock speed keeps server frames steady when a horde piles into a stairwell and physics props start stacking up.

Full server.cfg control

Edit hostname, sv_password, sv_difficulty, mp_friendlyfire, mp_timelimit and mapcyclefile in the web file manager, then restart from the console and test the change right away.

Metamod:Source and SourceMod

Upload Metamod:Source and SourceMod into the addons folder and run community NMRiH plugins, objective translation tools and admin commands on your own terms.

NVMe space for custom maps

Custom .bsp files in nmrih/maps load quickly from NVMe, and pointing sv_downloadurl at a FastDL host lets players grab missing maps without a painfully slow in-game download.

DDoS-filtered, password-ready

Free DDoS protection filters attack traffic aimed at your IP, sv_password locks the lobby to your crew, and banned_user.cfg keeps troublemakers out for good.

Round-the-clock support

Plugin conflict, a map that refuses to load or a version mismatch after a game patch? Reach our Turkish-speaking team 24/7 by ticket, live chat, Discord, WhatsApp or phone.

No More Room in Hell server hosting at TheCrewHost starts at $6.00 a month (₺240.00) and gives you a dedicated srcds instance on a Ryzen 9 9950X machine with DDR5 memory and NVMe storage in our İstanbul datacenter. That location keeps latency low for players in Türkiye and reasonable across Europe and the Middle East. Run objective maps with the nmo_ prefix or hold out on nms_ survival maps, tune sv_difficulty and mp_friendlyfire in server.cfg to match your group, and drop Metamod:Source and SourceMod into the addons folder over SFTP. It is a server you actually control, not a shared lobby you rent by the hour.

What can you run on a No More Room in Hell server?

A private NMRiH server runs both of the game's core modes, in whatever order you like: Objective maps, which carry the nmo_ prefix, and Survival maps, which use nms_. On objective maps the team works through a chain of tasks that can shift between playthroughs, ending with a push toward extraction. Survival is about holding a shelter while wave after wave of undead tests your ammo discipline.

The whole game is built on scarcity. There is no crosshair, the HUD only appears while aiming, ammo is rare, voice chat depends on distance and a bitten player is racing an infection timer. Because of that, server rules shape the experience more than in most shooters. Friendly fire, difficulty and the map rotation decide whether your group plays cautiously or chaotically.

The official co-op format is eight players, and map balance assumes that number. A server that boots into nmo_broadway by default can grow into the regular meeting point for a survival community, with rules and plugins that reflect how your group likes to play.

How much RAM does an NMRiH server need?

For most groups the entry Bronze 4GB plan is plenty. An eight-player Source co-op server uses only a fraction of that memory, even with a handful of plugins loaded. What actually limits NMRiH is single-core CPU speed: srcds handles game logic, zombie AI and physics mostly on one thread, so when the horde gets dense and your team jams into the same corridor, that one core carries the load. The Ryzen 9 9950X leaves comfortable headroom there.

There are only a few reasons to size up. If you stack dozens of SourceMod plugins, keep an archive of hundreds of custom maps or want long log history on disk, Silver 6GB or Gold 8GB adds memory and NVMe space. For a single NMRiH server, Platinum and above are more than the game can use, and we would rather tell you that than sell you idle capacity. If your needs grow later, you can upgrade to a higher plan whenever you want.

Plugins and custom maps: how do you add them?

Because NMRiH is a Source game, you can extend it with Metamod:Source and SourceMod. Upload both into the nmrih directory as addons, restart, and add your admins by SteamID to addons/sourcemod/configs/admins_simple.ini. The community has written NMRiH plugins for translating map objective text, team healing mechanics, weapon stat tweaks and general quality-of-life fixes. Check which game version each plugin supports before installing it, since an untested plugin on a current build can stop the server from starting.

Custom maps are simple: put the .bsp file in nmrih/maps and add its name to mapcycle.txt. Players can download maps straight from the server with sv_allowdownload, but that path is slow for large files. Host the files on a FastDL web directory and set sv_downloadurl, and downloads become dramatically faster. Maps you pick up from the Steam Workshop can be added the same way. Load any new map on an empty server first and confirm the objectives trigger properly before your group shows up for the night.

Which server.cfg settings matter most?

Most of your server's personality lives in nmrih/cfg/server.cfg. hostname sets the name shown in the browser, rcon_password protects remote administration, and sv_password decides whether the lobby is private; leave it empty and anyone can join. sv_difficulty ships as classic and can be adjusted to your group's experience. mp_friendlyfire toggles team damage, and in NMRiH that single line can decide whether a panicked squad survives a narrow hallway.

mp_timelimit and mp_maxrounds control how long a map runs, while mapcyclefile points at the file that holds your rotation. To make bans stick, exec banned_user.cfg and banned_ip.cfg and update them with writeid and writeip. Turning on log and sv_logfile gives you a timeline to check when something breaks.

Take a manual backup from the panel before changing anything important. When the game updates on Steam, the server files need updating too, otherwise players will be refused with a version mismatch.

How do players join, and how do you keep it smooth?

Your friends can join in two ways: search for the server name in the in-game browser, or open the developer console and type connect followed by the IP and port shown in your panel. Source servers default to port 27015, but your exact port is listed in the panel's connection details. If the lobby is password protected, players either enter the password when prompted or set it first with the password console command.

Most performance trouble comes from plugins. If the server starts hitching, disable the most recently added plugin and test again; SourceMod writes its error logs to addons/sourcemod/logs. Restarting long-running Source servers at regular intervals is also good practice. The status command lists connected players and their latency, and if only one player shows a high number, the problem is usually on their end. Since the server sits in İstanbul, players in Türkiye typically enjoy low latency, and friends across Europe and the Middle East get a solid connection too.

How to Set Up a nmrih Server

  1. 1

Pick a plan sized for NMRiH

Bronze 4GB covers an eight-player co-op server. Choose Silver 6GB or Gold 8GB only if you plan a heavy plugin stack or a large custom map library, then complete checkout.

  2. 2

Let setup finish, then open the panel

Your server is installed automatically once payment clears. Log in at gamepanel.hostingmerkezi.net for the console, file manager and start/stop controls; SFTP credentials are listed there as well.

  3. 3

    Tune server.cfg for your group

Fill in hostname, rcon_password and, if you want a private lobby, sv_password. Then set sv_difficulty, mp_friendlyfire and your map rotation to match how your team plays.

  4. 4

    Upload plugins and maps

Push Metamod:Source, SourceMod and any custom .bsp files over SFTP, add your SteamID to admins_simple.ini and restart the server to load everything.

  5. 5

Share the address and start surviving

Send the IP and port from the panel to your group, connect through the server browser or the console, and head into your first nmo_ map together.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to what people ask before renting an NMRiH server: cost, player limits, plugins, maps and day-to-day admin.

How much does No More Room in Hell server hosting cost?
Plans start at $6.00 per month (₺240.00) for Bronze 4GB, which is usually all an eight-player NMRiH server needs. There are 7 plans in total, with price rising alongside RAM, vCores and NVMe space. Every plan includes free DDoS protection, automatic backups, SFTP access and unmetered traffic.
How much RAM should I get for NMRiH?
4 GB is comfortable for a vanilla server or one with a few plugins. Source cares far more about single-core speed than memory, so a bigger plan does not automatically mean smoother play. If you run a large SourceMod setup or host a huge custom map collection, Silver 6GB is the sensible next step.
How many players can my NMRiH server hold?
No More Room in Hell is designed around eight-player co-op, and map difficulty is balanced for that group size. Your server handles a full eight comfortably. If your community is bigger than that, running a second server and splitting players across two lobbies keeps the balance intact and the rounds more fun.
Can I install SourceMod and Metamod:Source?
Yes. You get full file access over SFTP and through the web file manager, so you can place Metamod:Source and SourceMod under nmrih/addons and list admins in admins_simple.ini. Adding plugins one at a time and restarting after each makes it much easier to spot the one that causes trouble.
How do I add custom or Workshop maps?
Upload the map's .bsp file to nmrih/maps, add the map name to mapcycle.txt and restart. For quick downloads on the player side, set up a FastDL directory and point sv_downloadurl at it. Always open a new map on an empty server first and check that objectives and extraction work.
How long does setup take?
Setup is automatic. As soon as your payment is confirmed, the NMRiH server files are installed and your panel access is ready, so there is no waiting on a manual ticket. You can start the server, edit server.cfg and load your first map from gamepanel.hostingmerkezi.net straight away.
How do my friends connect to the server?
Share the IP and port from your panel. Players can open the developer console and type connect followed by that address, or find the server by name in the in-game browser. If you set sv_password, give the password only to the people you want in the lobby.
Are backups included?
Yes. Your server is backed up automatically, and you can create a manual backup from the panel at any moment. Take one before updating SourceMod, installing a large plugin or rewriting server.cfg, so you can roll back quickly if something breaks.
Is the server protected against DDoS attacks?
Every plan includes free DDoS protection that filters malicious traffic before it reaches your game server. On a public NMRiH server, that matters most right after you ban someone who decides to retaliate: the protection helps keep the rest of your team playing instead of timing out.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes, you can move to a higher plan whenever you like. On NMRiH the need usually comes from a very large plugin stack or map archive rather than player count. Take a manual backup in the panel before you switch so your configuration is safe.
