What a classic, exploration-heavy pack needs from a server: the right Java, fast chunk generation and dependable backups.
The Forge version behind Hexxit is not compatible with modern Java releases. Your server starts on Java 8, and the web console shows mod loading and any errors in real time.
Dungeon hunters open new terrain constantly, and every new chunk gets structures placed in it. The high clock speed of the Ryzen 9 9950X speeds that generation up and cuts stutter.
Twilight Forest and Dimensional Doors create extra dimensions, and the world folder grows as you explore. Samsung 990 EVO Plus NVMe drives write those saves quickly.
Your Hexxit install comes from the official server download Technic offers for the pack. When players pick the same build in their launcher, the mod list matches exactly and connecting is painless.
Automatic backups run in the background, and you can add manual snapshots from the panel before any risky raid. After a disastrous boss fight or a lost backpack, rolling the world back is easy.
If a 1.5.2 server refuses to start or a friend cannot connect, our Turkish-speaking team is available 24/7 by ticket, Discord, WhatsApp, phone or live chat.
Hexxit server hosting on TheCrewHost costs ₺345.00 ($8.63) per month to start, and that Silver 6GB plan includes 6 GB of DDR5 RAM, Ryzen 9 9950X cores and NVMe storage. Hexxit is the Technic team's Minecraft 1.5.2 pack built around dungeons and exploration, with a Dungeons & Dragons flavor and more than fifty mods including Battle Towers, Better Dungeons, Ruins, Twilight Forest and Tinkers' Construct. That era of Forge runs on Java 8, so your server launches on Java 8 too. Our İstanbul datacenter keeps the connection smooth for adventuring parties in Türkiye. Setup is automatic after payment, with ops.txt, server.properties and the world folder waiting for you in the panel and over SFTP.
Hexxit is a classic Technic modpack for Minecraft 1.5.2 that puts exploration first. Instead of a tech tree it focuses on dungeons, ruins and bosses, with a clear Dungeons & Dragons influence. You climb the floors of Battle Towers to beat the golem at the top, loot structures scattered around the world by Better Dungeons and Ruins, and push through the nasty caves added by Wild Caves 3.
The Twilight Forest is its own dimension with bosses and mazes, reached by tossing a diamond into a small pool of water ringed with flowers. Tinkers' Construct lets you forge your own weapons and tools, while Hexxit Gear armor sets power up your character. Infernal Mobs spawns elite monsters with random abilities, and Project Zulu fills the world with new creatures.
On a server, all of this naturally becomes a party game. Someone tanks, someone shoots, someone runs the Tinkers' workshop, and the group raids a tower together and splits the loot. A shared village base with personal chest rooms is the layout you see on most Hexxit servers.
At around fifty mods, Hexxit is light by today's standards, and Silver 6GB runs well for a group of two to eight. What actually eats memory is exploration rather than mod count: when every player heads in a different direction, the server keeps chunks loaded around each of them at once.
For eight to fourteen players who keep hunting for new dungeons, Gold 8GB is the safer buffer. Platinum 10GB fits fourteen to twenty players, and Diamond 12GB suits bigger communities.
The 1.5.2 engine processes the world on a single main thread, so it cannot convert every added gigabyte into speed. Past a certain point, single-core CPU performance is the limit, not RAM. That is why we only suggest Emerald and Xtreme for genuinely crowded, always-on servers. As for storage, the 60 GB of NVMe on Silver is more than enough for a widely explored world and a steady backup history.
In Hexxit, a new chunk means more than terrain; it can contain towers, ruins and dungeons. Structure placement makes chunk generation heavier, so you will see CPU spikes when players race off into the distance. Minecraft 1.5.2 has no vanilla world border, since /worldborder only arrived in 1.8. Settling on boundaries with your group and capping view-distance around 6 to 8 does the job instead.
Twilight Forest and Dimensional Doors each add dimensions. The pocket dimensions and Limbo from Dimensional Doors add new dimension data to the world folder as players use the doors. That is normal, but it also makes backups larger.
On the mob side, Infernal Mobs and Project Zulu raise entity counts. Automated spawners built with Soul Shards can pile up hundreds of items and mobs when nobody keeps an eye on them, pulling TPS down. Giving farms a kill mechanism and item collection cuts that load considerably.
On 1.5.2, admin files are plain text. Operators live in ops.txt, the whitelist in white-list.txt, banned players in banned-players.txt and banned IPs in banned-ips.txt; the JSON files you know from modern servers do not exist yet. The op and whitelist add console commands update these files for you.
In server.properties, the settings people change most are difficulty, pvp, spawn-protection, max-players and white-list. A dungeon-focused PvE server usually runs pvp=false, while a group of friends after a tough run can crank up the difficulty.
Hexxit II is a separate pack. It was made by xJon for Minecraft 1.12.2, and its mod list, Java requirement and world files are not compatible with classic Hexxit, so worlds cannot be moved between the two. If you want Hexxit II instead, you need that pack's own server files uploaded through the file manager or SFTP; our support team can advise if you are unsure.
Every player needs the Technic Launcher with Hexxit installed from its pack list. With the pack selected, Modpack Options lets them choose a build; matching the build your server runs prevents mod mismatches when connecting.
Once the game is running, they open Multiplayer, choose Add Server and type in the IP:port from your panel. If you locked the server with a whitelist, add players from the console first.
When someone cannot connect, check three things: has the server finished starting in the console, does the player's build match the server, and are they on the whitelist? Because Hexxit is an older release, it is also worth making sure players picked classic Hexxit and did not install Hexxit II by accident.
Silver 6GB fits a party of two to eight; pick Gold 8GB or Platinum 10GB for larger groups that explore a lot. After payment, the Hexxit install runs by itself.
Start the server from the panel and follow Forge loading its fifty-plus mods in the console. The first start generates the world and nearby structures, so give it a moment.
In server.properties, adjust difficulty, pvp, max-players and view-distance for your group. Set white-list=true for a private server and restart.
Give yourself operator rights with op, then whitelist each party member. On 1.5.2 these go into ops.txt and white-list.txt.
Players grab classic Hexxit in the Technic Launcher, lock it to the server's build and add your panel's IP:port as a multiplayer server.
The questions people ask most before opening a Hexxit server: versions, RAM, Hexxit II and how friends connect.
Our İstanbul datacenter runs on Ryzen 9 hardware, delivering low latency to players in Türkiye and good connectivity to Europe, the Middle East and the Caucasus.
