Run your Evrima server's rules, admins and player flow through Game.ini and RCON.
Edit GrowthMultiplier, bEnableMigration, bEnableMutations, AIDensity and day and night lengths to decide how harsh or forgiving your server feels.
Enable or disable playable species line by line, from Tyrannosaurus to Triceratops; removing a line makes that species unavailable on your server.
Switch on RCON with bRconEnabled, then send announcements, player lists, kicks, bans, saves and corpse wipes remotely through an Evrima-compatible RCON tool.
Use bServerWhitelist with WhitelistIDs to admit only approved Steam accounts, or combine bServerPassword with ServerPassword for a password-locked community.
With bQueueEnabled on, players arriving at a full server wait in line, while Steam IDs on the VIPs list skip the queue and go straight in.
AI creatures, plant spawns and migration zones are calculated constantly. Six- and twelve-core Ryzen 9 9950X plans carry that load on crowded servers.
The Isle server hosting at TheCrewHost starts at ₺840.00 ($21.00) per month and gives you a dedicated server running Evrima, the current and actively developed branch of the game, with 16 GB of RAM to start. It runs in our İstanbul datacenter on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X hardware with NVMe storage. In Game.ini you limit playable species with AllowedClasses, tune growth speed with GrowthMultiplier, and shape migrations, mutations and AI density around your community. Define admins through AdminsSteamIDs, then use RCON to announce, kick players and save. A join queue and VIP list are ready for busy evenings.
Evrima is the branch of The Isle under active development today. The older Legacy branch remains available separately but no longer receives new content. The two branches are technically unrelated: Legacy saves do not work in Evrima, and players must run the game on the same branch as the server they want to join. TheCrewHost plans are for Evrima.
The Evrima dedicated server is installed through Steam as the evrima beta branch of the game's server app, and its default map is Gateway. Players start their dinosaurs as juveniles and grow them by feeding and surviving, with progress stored server-side against each Steam ID. That means switching servers can cost players their dinosaurs, so starting your community on solid hosting matters.
On your own server you set the balance between realism and fun: a punishing survival experience, a relaxed fast-growth PvP server or a themed community built around specific species.
An Evrima server simulates far more than players. AI creatures, plant spawns for herbivores, migration zones, patrol zones and weather are all calculated continuously, and the work multiplies as the population grows. The game's server requirements are high for that reason, and we do not offer plans below 16 GB for it.
Emerald 16GB, with six Ryzen 9 9950X cores, is our recommendation for communities of up to about 50 players. Xtreme 32GB, with twelve cores and double the memory, is for busy servers in the 50 to 100 range. MaxPlayerCount defaults to 100, and the developers' own notes advise against going beyond that.
AIDensity and AISpawnInterval directly affect load. Higher AI density means more food for carnivore players but more work for the server. If performance dips at peak times, review those values first and the plan tier second.
The config files live under TheIsle/Saved/Config, in a LinuxServer or WindowsServer folder depending on the platform the server runs on. They are created on the first launch. One important warning: always edit them with the server stopped, because Evrima can rewrite its config on shutdown and wipe out changes made while it was running.
The [/Script/TheIsle.TIGameSession] section in Game.ini holds the server name, MaxPlayerCount, the password (bServerPassword and ServerPassword together), the join queue, RCON settings and gameplay rules. GrowthMultiplier scales growth speed, and the developers recommend never pushing it above 20. bEnableMigration toggles migrations, bEnableMutations mutations and bEnableHumans the human characters.
The [/Script/TheIsle.TIGameStateBase] section contains AdminsSteamIDs, WhitelistIDs, VIPs and AllowedClasses, with every Steam ID or species on its own line. Engine.ini holds the Epic Online Services credentials the server needs and usually stays untouched after initial setup.
Evrima uses its own RCON protocol, so standard RCON clients will not work and you need a tool written for Evrima. After setting bRconEnabled, RconPassword and RconPort in Game.ini, you can broadcast with announce, see who is online with playerlist, deal with rule breakers through kick and ban, force a save with save and clear piled-up bodies with wipecorpses. updateplayables even lets you change playable species without restarting.
Accounts listed in AdminsSteamIDs gain admin rights in-game. As your moderation team grows, keeping that list and the whitelist tidy is key to community safety.
Because players' dinosaur progress lives on the server's disk, backups are truly critical here. Automatic panel backups protect that data on a schedule, and you can take a manual one whenever you need it. Taking one before a major Evrima update protects your players' hard work if something goes wrong.
Players launch Evrima, search the server browser for the name you set in ServerName and enter the password if there is one. With the whitelist enabled, only Steam accounts in WhitelistIDs are admitted, which is common for application-based communities.
When the server is full and bQueueEnabled is on, newcomers enter the join queue. The queue runs on its own port, which comes preassigned to your server in the panel. Players on the VIPs list skip the line, a practical way to prioritize supporters or moderators. Put your community's invite link in the Discord setting and players can easily find your rules and announcements.
With the server in İstanbul, players across Türkiye connect with low latency. You notice it most during ambushes, when the timing of a single bite decides who survives.
Emerald 16GB is recommended for communities of up to 50 players; Xtreme 32GB suits busy 50 to 100 player servers and high AI density.
Payment triggers the Evrima install automatically. On its first launch the server creates Game.ini and Engine.ini and shows up at gamepanel.hostingmerkezi.net.
Change ServerName, MaxPlayerCount, GrowthMultiplier and password settings only while stopped, since Evrima can rewrite its config on shutdown.
Add admin Steam64 IDs on AdminsSteamIDs lines, choose playable species with AllowedClasses, and fill the VIPs and WhitelistIDs lists if you need them.
Set bRconEnabled, RconPassword and RconPort. Because Evrima uses its own protocol, connect with an RCON client built specifically for it.
Players search the server browser for your server's name and connect with the password. When it fills up, the queue kicks in and VIPs get priority.
