| Xtreme 32GB | 16 players, huge bases, long-lived worldThe game caps at 16 players; this plan is for massive builds and 12 vCores of headroom. | 12 vCore Ryzen 9950X · 32 GB DDR5 6000MHz · 200 GB NVMe SSD Samsung 990 PRO | ₺1520.00/mo |
Sized to Keen Games' official server requirements, with access to everything from the role system to difficulty tuning.
Keen Games recommends 16 GB of RAM and 6 cores for a dedicated server. Emerald 16GB matches that exactly, while Xtreme 32GB doubles the headroom for huge bases.
userGroups gives each role its own password. The password a player enters decides whether they can kick and ban, open inventories, edit or extend the base, and use reserved slots.
Pick Default, Relaxed, Hard, Survival or Custom with gameSettingsPreset. Custom unlocks Shroud time, enemy damage, day and night length and what you drop on death.
The world save lives in the savegame folder. Automatic backups plus manual snapshots in the panel let you recover after an accidentally demolished base or a troublesome update.
Enshrouded's diggable, buildable voxel world is constantly writing changes. Samsung 990 EVO Plus NVMe SSDs keep saving and loading quick even with massive builds.

Enshrouded server hosting at TheCrewHost starts at ₺840.00 ($21.00) per month, and the entry plan starts right at the level Keen Games recommends for dedicated servers: 16 GB of DDR5 RAM, 6 Ryzen 9 9950X vCores and 120 GB of NVMe SSD. It runs the official server software, with every setting in enshrouded_server.json: server name, up to 16 player slots, separate passwords for roles such as Admin, Friend or Guest, and Custom difficulty settings. Embervale stays online even after the world's creator logs off, so everyone can connect with their own character and keep building the base whenever they like. Our İstanbul location keeps latency low for players in Türkiye.
An Enshrouded dedicated server keeps your Embervale world online 24/7, independent of the PC of whoever created it. In in-game co-op, everyone is kicked when the host quits; on your own server, the Flame Altar never goes out, and whoever is free can dive into the Shroud, upgrade their craftspeople or expand the base.
Enshrouded supports up to 16 players, and servers are built around that cap. The typical setup is a group of four to eight friends progressing through a long-running world, while bigger Discord communities fill all 16 slots with a shared settlement.
Characters are stored on each player's own PC, and the world lives on the server. That means everyone can bring the same character to their own world and to yours. The rescued craftspeople, base structures and unlocked regions belong to the server world and remain the crew's shared progress.
An Enshrouded server needs 16 GB of RAM because that is what Keen Games recommends for a dedicated server, along with a 6-core CPU. That is why we only offer Emerald 16GB and Xtreme 32GB for this game; smaller plans might look cheaper on paper, but they come back as stutter and crashes in play.
The voxel world is the biggest memory consumer. Every tunnel players dig, every structure they build and every patch of terrain they reshape adds to the world data the server tracks. As players spread across different parts of the map, the area the server keeps loaded at once grows as well.
Emerald 16GB delivers 16 GB of RAM and 6 vCores, matching the official recommendation, and it is the right starting point for a server of up to 16 players. Xtreme 32GB does not raise the player cap, since the game stops at 16; instead it gives communities that build enormous bases, scatter across the whole map and run a world for months 12 vCores and twice the memory headroom.
Every Enshrouded server setting lives in enshrouded_server.json. Stop the server in the panel before editing, open the file in the file manager and save it without breaking the JSON structure.
name is the name shown in the server list, and slotCount is the player cap, with a maximum of 16. saveDirectory and logDirectory point to the save and log folders. The single password field from earlier versions has been replaced by the role system, so passwords are now defined under userGroups.
userGroups holds a name, password and permissions for each role: canKickBan for kicking and banning, canAccessInventories for opening chests, canEditBase for editing the base and canExtendBase for expanding it. reservedSlots sets how many slots are held open for that role. For example, you can keep a slot free for admins and give guests look-around rights only.
gameSettingsPreset can be Default, Relaxed, Hard, Survival or Custom. The fine-grained values under gameSettings only apply when Custom is selected, so with any other preset you do not need to touch them. Voice and text chat can also be switched on or off in the same file.
To change difficulty in Enshrouded, set gameSettingsPreset to Custom and edit the multipliers under gameSettings. These values reshape the game around your group's pace.
shroudTimeFactor scales how long players can stay inside the Shroud, and exploration-focused groups tend to raise it. playerHealthFactor, playerManaFactor and playerStaminaFactor tune character stats, enemyDamageFactor and enemyHealthFactor set enemy strength, and bossDamageFactor and bossHealthFactor adjust boss fights. With pacifyAllEnemies turned on, enemies ignore players unless attacked, which is ideal for building-focused servers.
tombstoneMode decides what you lose on death: the default AddBackpackMaterials drops only backpack materials at the tombstone, Everything drops all items and NoTombstone costs nothing. dayTimeDuration and nightTimeDuration store day and night length in nanoseconds, so count your zeros carefully when changing them. enableStarvingDebuff turns hunger into a real threat.
Settings take effect when the server restarts and apply to the existing world as well, so you do not need to start a new one.
Players join by searching for your server's name in the in-game server list and entering a password when they connect. That password decides which role they get: someone with the admin password joins with full rights, the friend password grants base editing and the guest password gives limited access. Sharing each role's password in a separate Discord channel is a good habit.
Since characters live on each player's PC, everyone can bring their existing character to the server. You can also move a world you started on your own PC or on a friend's machine to the server by uploading the save files to the savegame folder with the correct file names. If you get stuck, our support team can help with that step.
Because the server is hosted in İstanbul, players in Türkiye play with low latency, and friends connecting from Europe, the Middle East and the Caucasus generally get a good connection too.
Emerald 16GB matches the 16 GB of RAM and 6 cores Keen Games recommends and is enough for up to 16 players. Move to Xtreme if you plan enormous bases.
Setup kicks off by itself as soon as payment clears. Sign in at gamepanel.hostingmerkezi.net to reach the console, the file manager and the start and stop buttons.
Stop the server, set name and slotCount, and define separate passwords and permissions under userGroups for roles such as Admin, Friend and Guest.
Pick a ready-made preset with gameSettingsPreset, or switch to Custom and tune Shroud time, enemy damage and tombstoneMode for your group.
Upload a world you started elsewhere to the savegame folder over SFTP. Back up whatever save is already on the server before you do.
Start the server, search for its name in the in-game list and test the connection. Then share the role passwords with the right people and invite your crew.
