A server sized for Craftopia's islands and automation, with direct access to everything from the config file to your mod loader.
World name, four difficulty levels, game mode, player cap and password all sit in one file. Edit it with the server stopped and restart to load the new values.
Launch a Creative build or Creative play world with gameMode, then tune it with switches like quickCraft, noDeath, noHunger and forceDayTime for build contests or relaxed sandboxes.
Upload BepInEx-based Craftopia mods to the server over SFTP. The winhttp.dll and doorstop_config.ini files are what make the loader hook into the dedicated server.
Craftopia's own autoSaveSec setting saves the world every five minutes by default, and our automatic backups add a second safety net for the DedicatedServerSave folder.
Conveyor belts, automated farms and crowded dungeon fights all load the CPU. A Ryzen 9 9950X with DDR5 memory helps big bases keep running without stutter.
A Craftopia server reachable by public IP comes with free DDoS protection. If anything breaks, reach support 24/7 by ticket, Discord, WhatsApp, phone or live chat.
Craftopia server hosting at TheCrewHost starts at ₺440.00 ($11.00) per month for a private dedicated server with 8 GB of DDR5 RAM, Ryzen 9 9950X cores and NVMe SSD storage. It runs Pocketpair's official Craftopia dedicated server, and every setting lives in a single ServerSetting.ini file: difficulty, game mode, player cap, a numeric PIN password and the autosave interval. The hardware sits in İstanbul, so players in Türkiye and neighboring regions get a responsive connection while flying between islands or wiring up conveyor lines. Friends join straight from the in-game Join via IP screen, and the world keeps running when you log off.
A Craftopia server gives your group one persistent world where survival and full-blown industry happen side by side. One person can water the farm in the afternoon while another flies off to clear a dungeon on a new island, and in the evening the whole crew meets up to extend the conveyor line. Because the server stays online in İstanbul around the clock, progress never depends on someone leaving their PC running.
The gameMode setting in ServerSetting.ini defines the kind of world you run: 1 is the normal survival world, 2 is Creative building and 3 is Creative play. Difficulty has four steps, from 0 Easy through 1 Normal and 2 Hard to 3 VeryHard. The same plan can host a laid-back friends server or a punishing community world.
On Creative worlds, ageLevel sets the era and therefore which recipes are unlocked, while islandLevel pins monster and dungeon levels. For build contests, options such as noDeath and buildingIgnoreDamage are especially handy.
For a small group, 8 GB of RAM is a solid starting point for a Craftopia server, which is why our plans begin at Gold 8GB. Memory use grows with the size of the world more than with the number of players: every island you discover, every factory you build and every pile of dropped items becomes another object the server has to track.
The default maxPlayerNumber is 7, and Gold 8GB handles that crowd comfortably. Groups of ten or more, or crews that automate every corner of the map, are better served by Platinum 10GB or Diamond 12GB. The 6 vCores on Emerald 16GB give the simulation room to breathe on large factory bases.
Single-thread CPU speed matters most. The maxFPS value in ServerSetting.ini caps the server frame rate; it defaults to 60 and directly affects CPU load. If you notice stutter, clearing piles of dropped loot and shutting down pointless automation loops often helps faster than upgrading.
All of Craftopia's server options live in sections of ServerSetting.ini, and the file is generated automatically the first time the server starts. Stop the server before editing, because changes made while it runs can be overwritten on shutdown.
The [GameWorld] section holds name, difficulty and gameMode. Under [Host] you will find port, maxPlayerNumber (anything from 1 to 127), usePassword and serverPassword. The password must be a numeric PIN of up to eight digits, with no letters allowed. Keep isUseSteamLobby at zero, since the dedicated server does not broadcast through a Steam lobby.
The [Save] section controls saving: autoSaveSec is the interval in seconds and defaults to 300, autoSavePerHour adds an hourly save, and savePath points saves at the DedicatedServerSave folder. Shortening the interval too much can cause brief hitches on large worlds, so five minutes is a balanced choice for most servers.
Finally, [CreativeModePlStatus] lets you hand players a starting level, money and skill points on Creative worlds.
Yes. Most Craftopia mods rely on the BepInEx mod loader, and the same setup works on a dedicated server. Take the winhttp.dll and doorstop_config.ini files from a working BepInEx install in your game folder, upload them together with the BepInEx folder to the server root over SFTP, and drop plugins into BepInEx/plugins.
Most mods that change gameplay also need to be installed by every player, while a few only matter on the server side. Check each mod's page to see which group it belongs to, and share the exact list in your Discord.
Craftopia updates can break both the loader and individual plugins. If the server refuses to start after a big patch, take a backup, temporarily empty the plugins folder and add mods back one at a time. That is the quickest way to find the plugin causing the problem.
Friends connect through the Join via IP option in the Multiplayer menu. They pick or create a character, then type the server's IP address followed by a colon and the port; the default port is 6587, and the exact address assigned to your server is shown in the panel. If a password is set, they enter the PIN as well.
The dedicated server works with the Steam version of the game, and players on the Xbox or Game Pass version cannot join this type of server. If your group spans platforms, plan for that from the start.
Character progress travels with each player while the world stays on the server. A newcomer starts with their own character but finds the crew's factory, farms and unlocked islands waiting. Pin the server address in Discord so new members can join without asking around.
Gold 8GB covers crews of up to seven players. If you expect a bigger group or a heavily automated world, look at Platinum or Diamond instead.
Your Craftopia server installs itself once payment clears. Manage it at gamepanel.hostingmerkezi.net with the console, file manager and start and stop controls.
Stop the server and fill in name, difficulty, gameMode, maxPlayerNumber and the password fields. Save, then restart so the new settings load.
Upload winhttp.dll, doorstop_config.ini and the BepInEx folder to the server root and place plugins in the plugins folder. Make sure players install matching mods.
Give friends the IP and port shown in the panel. They type it into Join via IP in the Multiplayer menu and land in your world.
Automatic backups already run, but a manual snapshot in the panel before testing new mods or installing a game update keeps your world safe.
