Built for servers that want vanilla Bedrock accuracy with real modding freedom.
LeviLamina attaches to Mojang's Bedrock Dedicated Server instead of replacing it, so gameplay stays identical to the client while mods add commands, events and features.
Mods are C++ libraries loaded straight into the server process, and with the event system and command registration they can make low-level changes scripts cannot reach.
Runs LLSE plugins from the LiteLoader era on QuickJS (JavaScript), Lua, Node.js or Python engines and converts old plugin manifests to the LeviLamina format automatically.
The LeviLamina ecosystem uses the lip package tool and the Bedrinth mod index, and each mod page gives a package name that helps you keep track of version dependencies.
Every mod and script engine adds work to the main tick loop, and high-clocked Ryzen 9 9950X cores help the world stay smooth even with that extra load.
Reach mod folders, config files and world data through the file manager or SFTP, and lean on automatic backups as a restore point before any risky mod update.
LeviLamina server hosting starts at $6.00 per month and gives you Mojang's Bedrock Dedicated Server with the LeviLamina mod loader on top, running on AMD Ryzen 9 9950X hardware in İstanbul. LeviLamina is the ground-up rewrite of the project formerly known as LiteLoaderBDS. Its big advantage is simple: the engine running your world is still official BDS, so redstone, mob AI and world generation behave exactly as they should, while mods add land claims, economies, anti-cheat and admin tools. Scripts written for the old LiteLoader, in JavaScript or Lua, often carry over through LegacyScriptEngine.
LeviLamina is a lightweight, modular mod loader for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. It replaces LiteLoaderBDS, the project the LiteLDev team maintained before, and it was rewritten from scratch. On a server, Mojang's official Bedrock Dedicated Server is started through LeviLamina's launcher, bedrock_server_mod.exe, and mods hook into that process.
On vanilla BDS your customization options are behavior packs and the Script API, with limited access to player data, network packets or the server's internals. LeviLamina removes that ceiling with a full API covering events, command registration and configuration management. That is how servers add land claims, economies, teleport systems, anti-cheat or custom admin tools without giving up genuine vanilla gameplay.
That is also the key difference from third-party engines such as PocketMine-MP or Nukkit. Those rewrite the game from the ground up, which can leave gaps in redstone or mob behavior. With LeviLamina, the engine that runs your world is Mojang's own code.
LeviLamina is built against a specific BDS version, and every release states which server version it supports. Native mods are compiled against that same pairing, so when Mojang ships a new Bedrock release, things happen in order: first the LeviLamina team publishes a build for the new version, then the authors of the mods you use release their updates.
Meanwhile phones and consoles update the client automatically, so for a while players may be unable to join a server that is still on the previous version. That window is part of running a modded Bedrock server, and it is best handled with a plan. Never update the BDS files by hand independently of LeviLamina. Take a full backup, confirm that LeviLamina and every mod you rely on support the new version, then switch. A short maintenance notice on your Discord saves you a lot of questions during the wait, and our support team can help if an update step trips you up.
LeviLamina mods usually ship as a folder containing their own manifest.json, and the server scans for them in the plugins directory. The main places to find mods are Bedrinth, the index run by the LeviMC team, and the authors' GitHub pages. The ecosystem's package tool, lip, installs a mod by the package name shown on its page and resolves dependencies along the way. On your server you can simply upload mod folders through the file manager or SFTP.
If you have JavaScript or Lua plugins from the LiteLoaderBDS days, LegacyScriptEngine (LSE) is the bridge. It provides separate engines for QuickJS, Lua, Node.js and Python, and when you drop LLSE plugins straight into the plugins folder it converts their manifests to the LeviLamina format automatically. The Python engine also needs a compatible Python installation. Most older plugins run, but those calling removed APIs can throw errors, so test each one on a backup world first. Because official BDS sits underneath, behavior and resource pack add-ons keep working alongside your mods.
Baseline memory use is close to vanilla BDS, but every mod, and especially the Node.js or Python script engines, adds its own share. LeviLamina builds on the Windows version of BDS, so on Linux-based systems it runs through the Wine compatibility layer, which brings a small overhead of its own.
A friends server of up to eight players with a few light mods is fine on Bronze 4GB. If land claims, an economy and several LSE scripts will run together, Silver 6GB or Gold 8GB is a safer starting point. Once you pass about 30 players the CPU becomes the deciding factor: the first five plans, Diamond included, have 4 vCores, Emerald has 6 and Xtreme has 12. If the console starts warning about tick lag, find out which mod's event listeners are adding the load first. Removing one heavy mod often helps more than moving to a bigger plan.
From a player's point of view a LeviLamina server looks like any other Bedrock server, and nobody needs to install anything on their client. Android, iOS and Windows players open the Servers tab, pick Add Server and store the IP address and port from your panel. The only requirement is that their client version matches the BDS version the server runs.
Mojang's console restriction applies here too: Xbox, PlayStation and Switch cannot add a custom server address. The usual ways around it are community DNS redirect services or apps that broadcast the server on the local network as a LAN game. When players report version mismatch errors, the reason is often that the server is waiting for a LeviLamina update, so a server message or Discord announcement heads off the confusion.
Bronze 4GB handles a few light mods; pick Silver or Gold for mods that store persistent data, such as economies and land claims, or for LSE scripts.
Once your payment is confirmed the server is prepared automatically, and gamepanel.hostingmerkezi.net gives you the console, file manager and backup tools.
BDS runs underneath LeviLamina, so server-name, gamemode, difficulty, max-players and allow-list all live in the familiar server.properties file.
Send mod folders, each with its manifest.json, to the plugins directory over SFTP; add the right LegacyScriptEngine engine first if you are bringing LiteLoader-era scripts.
After a restart, watch the console for the line confirming each mod loaded; if one fails, remove it and add mods back one by one to isolate the problem.
Give players your IP and port, and make it a rule never to update BDS on a Minecraft release day until LeviLamina and your mods support the new version.
